The STOUT Series of flooring systems is considered to be a medium to higher build system used in wet traffic areas where medium to heavy wear and abrasion resistance is needed along with increased slip resistance.
Stout flooring systems are commonly used in commercial kitchens, public restrooms, wet processing areas, locker rooms and wet areas that need a more slip resistant floor. These floors provide a solid color floor that not only protects the concrete surface below, but provides a surface resistant to spills and stains, abrasion and wear and is easier to keep clean with the proper techniques.
The Stout Classic system is the standard and most cost-effective floor of this series when you are looking for strong protection for your concrete substrate. It incorporates a 4-layer application that is coated with pigmented resins to yield a solid color-looking floor. This is a single broadcast application that typically yields 40-50 mils or just less than 1/16" thickness; however, it can be completed in a double broadcast for a higher build if circumstances require this scenario.
The Stout Express system is a medium to higher build system used in wet traffic areas where medium to heavy wear and abrasion resistance is needed along with increased slip resistance. This system uses fast-setting products for quicker return to service. Some of these components can withstand foot traffic within 12 hours and full traffic within 24 hours. It offers a natural silica quartz aggregate which is broadcast into the resin and provides a textured finish to safeguard against slips and trips. This is a single broadcast application that typically yields 40-50 mils or just short of 1/16" thickness.
The Stout Prime system is a seamless 4-step process that provides color throughout the layers for an overall even and more dominant solid color look. It also provides UV resistance to this flooring system if UV exposure will be higher. The natural silica sand additive is used to broadcast into the resin to provide a medium texture and offers strong slip-resistance. This is a single broadcast system that typically yields 40-50 mils.
The Stout Prime Express system incorporates a 4-layer application that is coated with pigmented resins to yield a solid color-looking floor just like the "Prime" system; however, it incorporates faster-setting products that are used for quicker return to service along with a pigmented final urethane coat to provide the most UV resistance possible for higher UV exposed areas. This is a single broadcast application that typically yields 40-50 mils or just less than 1/16" thickness. The ideal conditions for this system are wet areas that require higher slip resistance; as well as, elevated UV exposure can be completed in a shorter timeframe. When time is more important than your budget, this is the system to use.
