Hermetic Urethane Cement System

Hermetic Urethane Industrial Epoxy Flooring florida

The HERMETIC URETHANE CEMENT Series of industrial epoxy flooring in Florida is a combination of a three-component urethane mortar and varied aggregates to create a thermal shock-resistant, non-slip flooring system. This series is engineered to be FDA and USDA acceptable for applications in food manufacturing, packaging and serving facilities. This series is also designed to withstand steam cleaning on a daily basis, along with the characteristics of being resistant to bacterial growth.

HERMETIC Urethane Cement Series is commonly used in commercial kitchens, wet processing areas, locker rooms and areas that need a more slip resistant floor. These floors provide a floor that not only protects the concrete surface below, but provides a surface resistant to spills and stains, abrasion and wear and is easier to keep clean. These floors are non porous and antimicrobial as well.

Hermetic urethane cement (base)

The HERMETIC URETHANE CEMENT Base system is a two-step high build urethane mortar floor system. This system of industrial epoxy flooring in Jacksonville, FL consists of a three component, urethane cement slurry with a silica sand broadcast. A urethane cement floor is seamless and does not allow for bacterial growth like grout lines in tile floors. This slurry broadcast coat plus a topcoat will yield approximately 250 mils or ¼” in thickness. For heavy thermal shock attack areas a 5/16" thickness is recommended as a minimum. The silica sand broadcast will provide a heavier non-slip finish on the surface for areas in need of better traction.

Hermetic Flake Series Flooring System

Hermetic urethane cement (basic)

The HERMETIC URETHANE CEMENT Basic system is a three-step process consisting of a three component, thermal shock resistant, urethane slurry system. The "Basic" system is seamless, replacing the need for costly tiles with failed joints where bacteria can grow. The system reveals a solid color throughout with a protective urethane top coat mixed with slip-resistant aggregate. With the use of aggregate it will provide a slight texture. This system will yield approximately 250 mils or 1/4”thickness. For heavy thermal shock attack areas a 5/16” thickness is recommended as a minimum. The difference between this system and the ’Base’ system is this system provides a smoother finish for areas that don’t need a heavy non-slip texture

Hermetic urethane cement (DOUBLE prime)

The HERMETIC URETHANE CEMENT Double Prime system is a three step process with a double broadcast of silica sand. It uses 1 layer of 1/8” urethane cement with a silica sand broadcast, then a layer of epoxy resin with a second silica sand broadcast followed by another coat of epoxy resin. The floor is then finished off with a pigmented urethane wear coat. This floor provides a heavy non-slip texture for areas in need of better traction. This Slurry double silica broadcast system will yield approximately 250 mils or 1/4” thickness. For heavy thermal shock attack areas at 5/16” thickness is recommended as a minimum.

Hermetic urethane cement (complete)

The HERMETIC URETHANE CEMENT Complete system is a two-step system with Urethane cement throughout. It consists of a three component, thermal shock resistant, urethane slurry with a silica sand broadcast, then a urethane cement topcoat for a full urethane cement system throughout. Unaffected by forced hot steam or hot oils up to 230° F. Fast setting and resistant to a variety of chemicals (see chemical resistance chart). Elite Crete 1/4” Urethane slurry is seamless, replacing the need for costly tiles with failed joints where bacteria can grow. This Slurry Silica broadcast system will yield approximately 250 mils or 1/4” thickness.

Hermetic urethane cement (PREFERRED)

The HERMETIC URETHANE CEMENT Preferred system is a four-step system consisting of an 1/8” layer of urethane cement slurry with colored quartz broadcast into it. Then epoxy resin is used for the second broadcast of colored quartz as well as the grout coat. The floor is then finished off with a coat of clear urethane for increased wear resistance. Compared to our other urethane cement options, this offers a more decorative look with multi colored quartz as the color of the floor. This slurry Quartz broadcast system will yield approximately 250 mils or 1/4”thickness.

Hermetic urethane cement (F8)

The HERMETIC URETHANE CEMENT Flake 8 system is a four step system consisting of an 1/8” layer of urethane cement slurry with 1/8” decorative colored flakes broadcast into it. Then epoxy resin is used for the second broadcast of 1/8” colored flakes as well as the grout coat. The floor is then finished off with a coat of clear urethane for increased wear resistance. Compared to our other urethane cement options, this offers a more decorative look with multi colored flakes as the color of the floor. This provides a seamless floor without grout joints from tiles where bacteria can grow. This Slurry flake broadcast system will yield approximately 250 - 350 mils, or 5/16”thickness.
